Before i begin, one word “Awesome”. 3D printer has fascinated me right from the day it was introduced. I first read about it, in Readers Digest. It talked all about future of manufacturing to NASA intensions to build tools in space. From that day i wanted to get hold of one for me. Well i did not buy one, though thanks to Vigyan Ashram in Pune, which is a open hacker space. They had organised a meetup sort of session for the introduction of 3d printers. I went to this place with my friends.
Here are first of my 3D printed models. I used Google SketchUp for building these models. Ohhh no no, the mars rover is one that i downloaded from the Google Warehouse. Though my friends thought exactly opposite of it.
I was also fortunate enough to get hold on one of 3d Doddler Pen. “Sone-pe-suhaga” kinda thing. I tried making few things but i didnt work out that well, i can’t draw. Below is a pic of the 3D Doddler Pen.
One of my new friends was a great artist there. She made the Butteryfly using the pen and also 3D printed the below things.
Now I’m waiting to buy one..! #3dPrinter #Fun
